So, I'm letting my eyebrows grow out after spending most of my life plucking them. Yikes. The whole grow out process isn't pretty. My eyebrows are keeping the same pattern so far, but stray hairs are growing in on the lower outer portions of the eyebrows. Well, perhaps I shouldn't call them stray hairs anymore - I'll embrace them as my new brows growing in. :)

That said, I'm trying to figure out ways to expedite the hair growth process, like massaging castor oil into my eyebrows every night. Do you have any suggestions? Here is a great video that I found by YouTube's Andreaschoice that talks about thick eyebrows and how to deal with growing them out:

I always let mine grow out. Right now they are real bushy lol I got to do them again :) I use razor blades to do mine
You use a razor blade? Wow! I've never heard of using that to do eyebrows. Why don't you use tweezers?
It hurts lol

LOL! Actually, I think Bert is sexy. Here is a great pic:

LOL LOL @ YOU TWO

Actually, if you tweeze your eyebrows immediately after a hot shower (and while your face is still damp), your eyebrow follicles are a lot less likely to hurt when you tweeze them (tweezing them in the direction of the growth of the hair).

Ok. That sounds good, but the pain is already in my head lol so I might jump before any is plucked out lol! I usually let my friend do my eye brows, it's not bad with the razor just a few cuts that are not visible.

I'm lettin mine grow out also and they are not cute.... threading is the only way to go for me... I tried waxin one time and thought they were ripping my face off... never again...lol tweezing is a slow painful process..nope.. not for me...lol threading is one swift motion and painless...

I thought threading was more painful than tweezing! lol

oh nooo...lol when you first get your eyebrows done.. it stings a little just like tweezing.. but once you keep getting it done.. you don't even notice it... at least I don't.... that's the only way I will get mine done....lol
Castor Oil will be your best friend when it comes to growing your eyebrows. What I liike to do is use peppermint oil which stimulates the blood flow then apply castor oil at night then apply a hot towel on top of my brows. That will speed up he process.
Ooo I like that technique, Faith! Thanks so much! My eyebrows are growing in quite a bit on the outer edges and are starting to come in more towards the middle. The whole process definitely requires patience (and resistance to plucking), so your advice definitely helps me out!
