Live Red Carpet Special Highlights: 

I'm watching BET Awards 2011, and having fun doing it! The actual awards haven't started yet - the red carpet is going on now. I'm loving some of the fashions so far, and the performances are on point. They also premiered "We're All One" (a CashMoney video). 

• Drake in particular is looking pretty hot dressed in a casual black shirt and pants. He carries himself so well and seems so relaxed during his interviews.
• Neyo was also looking incredibly delicious, with his black jacket, hat and shades, and white jeans. He carries himself with so much swag, it's quite hard to look away when he's on TV.
• Bobby Valentino is wearing a sexy Dolce and Gabbana white suit with a sky blue shirt. 
• Marsha Ambrosius won the Centric award, and is looking fabulous while accepting it. Her makeup is flawless with a bright dark red lip, dark eyeliener and mascara, and her curls are flowing beautifully. In addition, I'm loving her dress. It appears to be a halter white short dress with some brown and yellow floral prints on it. 
• Lala is bringing it with a classic, vivacious look - it is a gorgeous sequin Tom Ford dress. Carmelo Anthony (her husband) is wearing an all gray Versace ensemble and looking absolutely royal in that outfit.
• Kelly Rowland is absolutely breathtaking in a bright pink form-fitting mini dress with a floral-looking decoration diagonally draping the front of the outfit. 
• Keri Hilson's color combinations in her outfit are fabulous - purple top, black baggy pants, silver bracelet cuffs, and a silver choker with a huge green pendant in the center.

Live Show Highlights: 

• Mary J. Blige did a mix of some of her hottest hits in a white cat suit and a tan leather belt (with a silver/chrome buckle) wrapped around her stomach. Cute outfit, but I'm not sure if I'm feeling the white wedge heels she's wearing...Overall she has a futuristic appearance, which is fitting with her current look/branding right now.
• Taraji Henson is wearing a long beige/skin neutral gown that blends well with her skin tone. She is absolutely glowing tonight! Her neutral makeup colors complements the dress well. 
• Willow Smith is so adorable, and is having fun with her hair! Her hair is braided up with two ponytails braided together and looped at the top. Keep rocking your style, Willow! :) It's fun watching how she varies up her style with each appearance.
• Nicki Minaj is in a striped sheer pink mini dress outfit (with ruffles on shoulder pads and bottom of dress) with gray tights and black heels (while accepting award for Best Hip Hop Female Artist). 
• Jill Scott is sporting a striking red, sparkling dress that showcases her curves perfectly! Her blazing style tonight is reminiscent of outfits worn in classic jazz performances throughout American history, so I give a thumbs up on her choice tonight! 
• Chris Brown just killed it with his performance - I must say his dancing is hypnotizing. However, his initial outfit on stage looked a bit "Lady Gaga"-esque with the crazy shoulder pad and "lumpy" pants suit. I'm glad he finally stripped out of that first outfit and started looking a bit more normal. :) 
• Megan Good is wearing a black halter gown that is probably hypnotizing a bunch of men right now. Gorgeous as always. :)
• Busta Rhymes just cleared up his crazy fast lyrics for me from the song "Look at Me Now" during an acceptance speech - thank you Busta!!! 
• Alicia Keys is looking gorgeous in a pants suit, black corset top, a gold choker with chains that wrap around her body, and her hair is pinned up in a side ponytail with curls spiraling down past her shoulder. 
• Nicki Minaj and Justin Bieber had a cute little interaction on stage with some flirty talk going back and forth. Justin started it by saying that he is going to turn 18 this year, "so what's up?" Nicki Minaj asked, "Do you drive?" Justin responded with a yes, and she followed up with a slick "Do you handle curves?" Justin slyly responded, "Why yes I do." Too cute. :) 
• Keri Washington is wearing a long yellow halter gown (with a slight flirty split mid-torso) and her hair is slicked back beautifully in a ponytail. 
• Amber Rose is wearing (what looks like) a catsuit with intentional rips throughout the suit.
• Trey Songz ripped his shirt off during his performance and is swooning the ladies. :) 
• Kelly Rowland just appeared on stage through Trey Songz' performance and took over the stage with her song, "Motivation". Her performance is very reminiscent of Janet Jackson from the early 90's (a la "Alright" video).
• During Patti LaBelle's tribute, CeeLo wore a wig and kept spraying hair sheen in it during the performance! Talk about over the top - but it was funny at the same time! :) 
• Patti LaBelle is wearing a black gown/jacket with beautiful ruching at the bottom, buttons down the torso. She is wearing a black mini dress underneath. She complemented the dress well with luxurious diamond jewelry (a necklace, earrings, bracelets and a ring). 
• Then...Awkward moment of the night: Terrence and Rocsi introduce a girl (Tiffany) from Flatrock Michigan (who is Nicki Minaj's #1 fan) who is supposed to announce the award for People's Choice. The girl immediately said, "and the winner is" and then went into stating names: "Chris Brown", then stopped and said, "Rihanna", and everyone on stage looked extremely confused. You could hear the Terrence and Rocsi telling her "Read the screen! Read the screen!" but she kept going (looks like she was really confused). Terrence then said "Drake!" to straighten it out. I'm not sure what the misshap was - they were supposed to announce the nominees first and then the winner, but in this case, she went ahead to announce the winner and announced Chris Brown and then Rihanna, neither of whom was the winner (Rihanna's music even started playing in the background when she said her name!). Eventually Drake came out on stage and immediately said, "This is awkward. Um...." and then continued with his acceptance speech!!! 
• Ledisi is rocking red locks pinned up in a beautiful updo, and a metallic dress with a belt around the middle. Gorgeous!
• Beyonce looks beautiful in her performance of "Best Thing I've Ever Had" and "Say You'll Never Let Me Go" (she wasn't performing at the awards - she was abroad and BET played video of her performance). She is wearing a black leotard underneath a gold glitter jacket with a black belt (with a gold buckle on the front). She is also wearing sparkling black shoe booties with a stiletto heel.
• And...the awkward situation just became even more awkward at the finale: Kevin Hart (the host) announced that Tiffany was right after all with announcing Chris Brown the first time around as the winner of the People's Choice Award!!! OMG - seriously? *smh*
