need help not sure what to do
Has anyone tried Africa's Best Organic Kids Softener Kit and if I use it can I go get my hair relaxed with a professional 13 weeks later or will I have to stick with a softener I need help i dont want to mess my hair up

The Kiddie perms are a relaxer that uses Guanidine VS the Sodium Hydroxide used in other relaxers. The difference?? The pH scale. The guanidine is slightly lower then sodium and the instructions might tell you to leave on only 5 minutes for softening rather then the 13-18 minutes for straightening. Always be honest with the stylist on what you used so she doesn't overlap and cause damage and/or breakage! Hope this advice isn't too late! :)
