I'm a bit peeved about this billboard in the middle of New York City. I don't think it is fair that they used this innocent child's face to send an anti-abortion message. It paints a picture of a situation (abortion) with a very broad brush. I can only imagine how many women see this ad in person or on the news and cringe (or worse, it brings back really horrible memories). I think posting this sort of billboard message is incredibly selfish and should have been re-examined prior to pursuing such an act. I'm not condoning or condemning the message behind what this billboard is trying to communicate. I am condemning the manner in which the anti-abortion group decided to communicate it. I am glad that the mother of this innocent child is pushing to remove the child's image from the billboard (even though she signed a contract allowing her daughter's image to be used in such a way).
