INSPIRATION: “Girls Are Like Apples On Trees”
Girls are like apples on trees. The best ones are at the top of the trees. The boys don’t want to reach for the good ones because they are afraid of falling and getting hurt. Instead, they just get the rotten apples that are on the ground that aren’t as good, but easy. So the apples at the top think there is something wrong with them, when, in reality, they are amazing. They just have to wait for the right boy to come…Continue
This morning I went to church service, it's my second time going to church in quite a while. I feel the need to build community and get closer to God. I've been working in building a relationship with god, but I also feel the need to connect with people.

I enjoy the creative process- it puts me in a meditative state. Sometimes I enjoy the process more than the end product. For the most part I do feel satisfied with whatever the end products ends up being.
I enjoy writing poetry as a way to express my feelings and get in touch with my thought process.
I love painting, sometimes drawing, but usually I get the urge to simply…Continue

I was first introduced to Valana Minerals in 2009- and ever since then I fell in love with this great line of Natural Make up products. I love the fact that this make up was designed for women of color, so that we can find the right product that suits our skin tone. I also love the wide selection of eye shadows, lip gloss, soft vegan brushes and grateful that I found my foundation color "Golden Honey!" The brushes that I have are very soft, I have had them for two years now and they are in…Continue

Sometimes it is very easy to get caught up in today's to-do's and obligations that appear incredibly overwhelming. So many people get so caught up in their obligations that they lose themselves to their work and chores, losing their peace along the way. Interestingly enough, I was been thinking about this issue when I came across Leija Turunen's video on YouTube entitled "Grounding Yourself is So Important!" (quick and cute video):
