Aug. 29, 2010: Running at the beach and gym update

Whew! Just came back from an intense run by the beach this morning! I think my endurance is definitely getting better. I actually spent about two hours in the gym yesterday morning pushing myself as much as possible on cardio machines (treadmill, elliptical, and stairmaster) as well as doing some weight-lifting workouts (specifically focusing on toning my outer and inner portions of my legs) and did a bunch of ab floor workouts. Aug. 26, 2010: Food indulgence and exercising plans

So a little food indulgence isn't so bad during a weight loss challenge. :) Last night, Kwan and I went to Chili's to indulge in some delicious food. What did I get? A hamburger, fries, mango ice tea, and some New England Clam Chowder. I personally don't care to get bent out of shape about indulging from time to time during my weight loss challenge. Aug. 23, 2010: YT video and food regimen update



Here is the video that I posted on YouTube yesterday re: the first day of my fitness regimen during the weight loss challenge:





In terms of food, I think I did well yesterday:



For breakfast: Special K Cereal with skim milk

For lunch: Leftover salmon pasta

For dinner: A roast with carrots and potatoes

For snacks: some Yoplait yogurt and Quakes rice snacks (Apple Cinnamon)

Aug. 22, 2010: Jogging outside and food regimen

August 22, 2010:



So, I wanted to start up my jogging exercise regimen today but of course, it rained like crazy here so I didn't think it would be prudent to start up my exercise in pouring windy weather. I will be jogging tomorrow morning, hopefully - pending good weather!



In terms of food, I had a great breakfast: Eggo Waffles and scrambled eggs; for lunch: quesadillas and rice/beans at Chilis; and dinner: salmon and pasta salad.

Senior Year!
