Are you looking for some creative date ideas for the upcoming fall season? Take advantage of new, exciting, and memory-building ways to take advantage of the new and cooler season with your honey with the following ideas:

Hiking: I recently bought some hiking pants and waterproof quality hiking boots at a great discount at Bass Pro over the summer in preparation for hiking trips with my beau for the fall. While we’ve taken countless walks outdoors, going hiking is a new experience for the both of us, and we want to be able to build nature-oriented memories and take in beautiful natural surroundings as we spend time alone together.

Apple Picking: It’s harvest time, and there are plenty of apple farms to visit and have fun picking apples together. It may sound corny, but this activity brings you back to your collective childhood as you romp around picking delicious big apples and tasting apple cider as well as other treats offered at your nearest apple farm.

Wine tours: Go on a wine tour together or with a group of friends and sample different wines that suit your fancy. This is one of my favorite activities to do with my partner. We have similar as well as different tastes when it comes to wine, and we love comparing wines and figuring out which wines suit our taste buds, and which ones don’t pass our collective palate.

Picnics: You may think that picnics are just a “summer thing”, but there is nothing like going into the park on a cool day with your beau, laying down a blanket in a private area, and simply spending time together outdoors away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.  Pick out a fun picnic basket, get a cooler, and pack up your favorite easy lunch and beverages and indulge in an autumn picnic experience.

Halloween fun: Don’t count out Halloween fun when you are brainstorming a fun fall date activity. Once it hits September, Halloween-oriented stores and motifs come out the woodwork, enticing you at every turn. Start planning out what you both can do on Halloween (a haunted house visit, a haunted walking tour) or attend a Halloween event where the both of you can have fun picking out your costumes for the festivities.  My partner and I are going to visit a major theme park in October, which is going to be fully immersed in Halloween festivities starting in September.
