When I saw Beyonce's new "sexy-vixen-visits-detective-1940's-style" video, I immediately thought of Madonna in the 1990 "Dick Tracy" movie (with Warren Beatty). Those scenes are always steamy, but it seems as though Beyonce was able to take the "steam" to the next level with "Dance for You", off of her Album, "4". With her beauty, curves, and seduction style, Beyonce has officially solidified her position as the modern-day Marilyn Monroe. 

I am also happy that this song absolutely screams 1990s R&B. It is melodic, sexy, and not overladen with overpowering beats or other music effects that take away from the actual vocal talent. Gotta love it! Check out "Dance for You" here:
