Do you think BET and reality shows are to Blame for our youths Behavior?

When I seen this all I could do is shake my head in disgust. First at the title of this video and more so the filthy things these little girls were saying. I think reality shows and most of the content and music videos on BET affects our kids behavior and mentality. I know the parents are to blame too but TV is becoming more garbage and poisoning by the minute. The sad part about it is that we only have one channel really for us but they choose to show the most degrading things 70% of the time on that channel.

When I seen this second video I knew there was still Hope.

Robert, you made a good point when you said "these kids are merely doing what is natural, mimicking their environment in order to survive or rather get along better." I totally agree with that. I believe a lot of time peer pressure can cause a good kid to behave badly. If you watch the video there was one lil girl 0:27 That was trying to do exactly what the rest of them were doing but you could tell it was very uncomfortable for her.

Perhaps it is a combination of factors. People are inclined to imitate what they see in their network which helps them survive so to speak. The media or television mediums merely imitate what they see in their respective network or broadcasting area and so we end up watching ourselves in a twisted kind of quasi reality. I remember when I was a kid, I went to an all white school, then suddenly when I got to junior high school that was vastly different, I'm sure my parents marked the change, because what I did was I would come home and use the house phone to call our answering service in order to leave a message, I used it like a recorder so I could practice cursing and saying the "N" word, although it sounds ridiculous I was attempting to assimilate in order to better fit in. I think this is a fitting example of what we see happening all around, who you are connected to is very important to the copy and paste effect. I'm not surprised at the videos above, these kids are merely doing what is natural, mimicking their environment in order to survive or rather get along better. The vernacular is always changing, I'm sure when I'm older the things kids will say probably would be brow raising but its that same people, just different vernacular

I can't believe these girls are talking like that! Ridiculous. Their parents obviously have extremely poor parenting skills. I can barely understand half of the things coming out of their mouths, yikes. For the longest time, people have been asking BET to alter its programming because youth are very impressionable. Now we are seeing the results.
