³But he that prophesieth speaketh unto men to edification, and exhortation, and comfort.

⁴He that speaketh in an unknown tongue edifieth himself; but he that prophesieth edifieth the church.

I know there are many people proclaiming to be prophets and "prophesying" over the lives of many of us. However when prophesy is spoken over you, please practice your due diligence and match the prophetic word up with the Word of God. If a prophesy contradicts what God says in his Word then it is not of God because God will never contradict his word. Remember prophesy is for edification, exhortation, and comfort. Not fortune telling and mysticism.
