The type of donut foam I use to fill up my bun. 

Just a quick update: I've decided to really cut down on flat ironing my hair and do protective hairstyles. My favorite style right now is a bun, where I wrap my hair around a small foam black donut hair item in order to give it a full look (I'll post pics soon).
Now that I am at arm-pit length, I'm becoming extra-cautious with how I take care of my hair, because it would be a shame to lose length at this point. As much as I absolutely lovvvveeeee leaving my hair down and allowing it to bounce, shake, and blow in the wind, I am more interested in my hair growing even longer, so I'm pinning it up more. Plus, it is hot outside these days, so the hair off my neck feels pretty good. My next hair goal is bra-strap length, so wrapping my hair up into a bun (and loading it up with some unrefined/virgin coconut oil every night) is a must right now!
