Live Your Most Beautiful Life
Getting a knock-out body is not as challenging as many people make it out to be. If you are determined to achieve a knock-out body, have fun while getting there! I have found in personal experience that I was able to trim the most fat and lose the most weight when I made slight adjustments to my daily activities (e.g., exercise, eating) and engaged in exercises that stimulated me and relieved stress. I love how my clothes fit, and I love embracing my body in a more healthy and fit form! Here are my top five tips for a knock-out body:
1) Focus on realistic healthy weight/body goals:
It is very easy to get fixated on trying to achieve a certain type of physique. In my opinion, it is much easier to be fixated on living a healthier life, eating better and exercising more. By focusing more on healthy living, your body starts to reflect that healthy living and you'll enjoy how your physique transforms and your overall health in the long run.
One of the easiest ways to lose interest in exercising is by doing the same old routines day in and day out, getting bored day by day! Figure out what type of workout (or workouts) will keep you stimulated throughout the week. Vary up what type of classes you'll take every week to keep you excited. I personally enjoy spinning and kickboxing classes at the gym. The music and the routines are always different, keeping me on my toes and wearing me out every time! :)
3) Stock up more on healthy food!
If you struggle with eating healthier food, throw out all the junk food in your cupboards and stock up on fruits, vegetables, as well as other healthy food that you can snack on. You can keep an "indulgence" food around (e.g., a bag of chips or popcorn), but if you find that you can't resist the temptation to eat that food every time you need a snack, then I highly suggest throwing out all the junk food and completely transitioning over to healthier food so your body will appreciate it more. For example, when I started eating fruits and vegetables more, I noticed that my body didn't care for the junk food as much as it used to.
4) Water, Water, and More Water!
If you drink a glass of water before eating a meal, it will actually help to curb your appetite a little bit. Also, drinking water throughout the day is helpful too. Why? Because it is incredibly easy to confuse hunger and thirst, so drink water first and see if that settles the food craving sensation throughout the day. If you don't like the taste of water, add some lemon to it to infuse some zest into this healthy beverage choice.
5) Enjoy food!
Just because you are aiming for a knockout body doesn't mean you have to starve yourself. Au contraire! Have fun looking up recipes that come from all of the food groups and excite your taste buds throughout the day!
