Pop Singer Whitney Houston Dead at 48
This news just broke: Whitney Houston's publicist, Kristen Foster, announced that Ms. Houston, at age 48, died today. Causes and location are currently unknown.
Houston is considered one of the top pop stars of the 1980s and 1990s. She is the first female artist to ever debut at #1 on the Billboard charts and has also sold 200 million albums around the world. She has also won two Emmy Awards, 30 Billboard Music Award, and 22 American Music Awards throughout her career.
