Live Your Most Beautiful Life
The colorblocking trend combines different colors next to each other in "block" fashion on a garment or accessory. I absolutely adore this trend, especially when it comes to shoes. I love seeing random, bright colors blending well together on a beautiful heel or flat. Here are some colorblock shoes and styles that work really well for Spring 2012:
The Jessica Simpson Collection has a wonderful sorbet of colorblock heels. Here is a great example:
The Sheri, $98.00
The geometric colorblocking and juicy hues make this pump absolutely perfect for Spring 2012. When you wear this shoe, it will look like you are wearing a piece of art. The height of the heel and the colors of the heel will definitely bring attention to your legs! Check out more of Jessica Simpson's pumps here!
If you're not into pumps, you can still sport the colorblock shoe trend beautifully with this flat shoe by Ann Taylor:
The Elizabeth Pointy Flat, $158.00
This shoe comes in four fabulous shoe tips: Blue Lapis (seen above), True Khaki, Neon Light, and Shocking Pink. I love how the patent-leather tip adds a strong hint of colorful vibe to what would probably be just another ordinary shoe. The color definitely adds zest to a comfortable, casual shoe.
If you are in the market for a regular heel with some muted colorblocking, I highly recommend DSW's Rampage Genova Sandal:
Rampage Genova Sandal, $44.95 (Compare at $59.00)
I absolutely adore this heel for an evening look. It sports the colorblock trend with overlapping flare, embedded within an absolutely stunning silhouette that beautifully elongates the leg.
