Live Your Most Beautiful Life
Sometimes it is so easy to get lost in the day to day activities and obligations and forget about ourselves. But one of the best ways to renew and self-restore is to treat yourself to some "me" time. Find some time once or twice a week where you can gather up some of your favorite beauty items in your house, get away from everybody else, and simply "self-luxuriate" and enjoy the process.
For example, I love to set the stage for "me" time by lighting a great candle scent in the room I'm in (for example, I love Yankee Candle scents and love the great deals that they have at the store!). Then, I'll look at myself and figure out what "beauty fix" I want to indulge in for the day. For example, I may just want to do a full deep cleansing facial and body scrub (Body Shop has some great scrubs!), and couple that with a facial sauna (you can buy facial saunas anywhere, like at Target or Walmart). I then may pamper my hands and feet with special peppermint lotions and special scrubs in order to get them back on track during this harsh winter season (Body Shop, Mary Kay and Avon have some wonderful hand/feet peppermint items). Or, if my body is feeling stiff from intense workouts or the cold weather overall, I may just indulge in an epsom salt bath (or a Bath and Body Works bubble bath) and allow the water's warmth to ooze into my senses. After I indulge in a beauty fix, I feel so much better and ready to tackle the rest of my day.
If you're looking for ways to improve your own "me" time, consider checking out beauty items at Walmart, CVS, Target, or go to your local mall and check out the massive inventory of beauty indulging ideas there as well. Whatever you do, make sure you tailor it for yourself as well as your budget. Finding the right items for you will make your self-luxuriating time all the more special and delicious.
